Rio de Dinheiro is a striking herdsire with the most beautiful facial markings, which he is passing on to his cria. He bears a remarkable resemblance to his sire, the renowned Aussie Rockford. PPERUVIAN FELIX G4562 is his grandfather on his dads side. His mom is full Bolivian, and his grandfather on his mothers side is BOLIVIAN BLACK THUNDER B969, who produced 221 offspring most of which were TB or grays. This gives Rio gray on both sides of his family tree. His gorgeous fleece has matured into a dark silver gray. He has incredibly dense fleece with a nice handle. His fleece is heavily crimped all the way through and it is maintaining excellent fineness. Rio is the most beautiful dark shade of gray, with unique white markings on his face. He is a big boy too, and he loves his girls. He has straight legs, great teeth, super fiber especially for a gray. What more could you ask for if you are breeding for gray in your program. Don't let these great genetics get away, if your breeding for black or gray Rio is your boy. One look at him and you will be convinced this boy is outstanding!

Details
Mangas is Juliet's first cria and is named after Mangas Coloradas, an Apache tribal chief and a member of the Eastern Chiricahua nation, whose homeland stretched west from the Rio Grande to include most of what is present-day southwestern New Mexico. He was the father-in-law of Chief Cochise and is regarded by many historians to be one of the most important native American leaders of the 19th century due to his fighting achievements against Mexicans and Americans. The name Mangas Coloradas is the reception of his Apache nickname Kan-da-zis Tlishishen (“Red Shirt” or “Pink Shirt”) by Mexicans and is Spanish for Red Coloured Sleeves.
Though Mangas the alpaca has white sleeves, we still think his name fits him very well. You would never know he is the 2nd youngest Juvenile boys, as he is always up for a tussle to show his bravado and prove his strength. He is quickly coming into his own and is determined to be a fierce leader and warrior.
We have great plans for his breeding career when the time arises.
