Pippi has a crimpy, dense fleece the color of copper. She is a beautiful alpaca with nice fleece coverage, and she has a classic head with a quarter sized bit of white in her topknot. She is easy to handle, halters easily and leads well. She is one of our best dams and is the matriarch of our herd. She is an easy breeder/birther, an attentive mother, and always has plenty of milk.
Pippi is one of those rare dams who seem to pass on all of her best traits/characterstics. Her cria always have dense, crimpy fiber with unbelievable handle, excellent conformation and confident, proud demeanors. You can pick her offspring out of the herd! The females are our best mothers.
Pippi's Cria
When bred to (LF) she delivered a beautiful male, MSG Pinto in 2003 and a wonderful female, LF Pinto cria from a (LF) in 2004. Both are Dom Lucilio Grand-crias and have shown at the top of their classes. In September 2005, Pippi delivered a female cria sired by FFTX Cody, (DF). She is a soft medium fawn with vicuna type markings with dense, crimpy fleece and excellent handle. In September 2006, she gave us another female cria, a dark fawn with a MRG face and ears out of BLackHawk, (BB). And again she has a crimpy fleece with density and handle! In September 2007, Pippi gave us a wonderful solid white female cria from (DF) FFTX Cody. This little lady has the finest, fiber you have ever seen. It is like angel hair cotton and sticks to everything.

Details
Candy Kisses is our energetic, little mischievious, ball of fire. She always seems to be the instigator of everything you see happening in the pen or field and she wears more green than a lephrechan would be happy wearing. But she leads, halters and loads in a trailar when you need her to.
Candy is everthing we have come to expect of one of Pippi's offspring. She has perfect conformation, perfect size and proportion for an alpaca. Her fiber is dense and crimpy with excellent handle and overall uniformity and good coverage. Her dark fawn coverage is rich and carmel colored (almost the color of Sugar Baby carmels). Visitors pick her out of the herd quickly as her legs have the almost lighter vicuna markings of her dam. And over the last year she has developed dime sized, light fawn spots across her shoulders, making her quite the attractive alpaca overall.
Candy's sire is Black Hawk, a TB son of Nick Nac which is a MRG/W Multi Award winner. Pippi, Candy's dam has a touch of MRG herself, so we are breeding Candy to MSG herdsire, Independence Day, to see if we can't draw out the gray in Candy by way of her first cria.
